Food Safety
What is it?
Food Safety is a priority and new mandatory laws were passed and ratified by the Food and Drug Association through the FSMA. All foreign food entities (as per regulation) are required to be certified to have goods imported into the United States. Certification raises a high standard of food safety that is recognized around the world.
What is different?
As foreign food entities, you are already engaging in food safety practice, but through training, audit. After FSMA training, audit, and certification with the necessary facility and process improvements, you can be certified which is required for all foreign food suppliers and processors into the US market and other markets desiring similar production standards.
Why you need it.
Ivory Cashew has a subsidiary that invites select FSMA compliant certified companies into our network of suppliers to meet import demands. Ivory Cashew offers the FSMA support and Ivory Cashew Imports helps certified suppliers get their goods sold.

A variety of packaging options are available including aluminum bags, plastic containers and bulk vacuum packaging. We work with clients to determine best packaging option. Our product can be packaged for long-term storage keeping them fresh and crisp for up to one year.
